Product Overview:
DURASILE AF-SWELL is a high-performance compressed non-asbestos (CNAF) gasket material designed with controlled swell properties to ensure enhanced sealing reliability. Engineered for demanding applications, it offers excellent adaptability and secure sealing in contact with automotive and chemical media. Typical applications include engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and various oils. It is also particularly suitable for low-pressure joints such as housings, valve covers, and oil pans.
Application Suitability: The material is suitable for use with:
• Automotive oils and lubricants
• Transmission and hydraulic fluids
• Chemical process fluids
• Engines and machinery sealing applications
• Low-pressure housings and covers
Composition:
DURASILE AF-SWELL is manufactured from a carefully balanced blend of aramid and mineral fibres, reinforced and bonded with high-quality styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). The sheets are produced using the hot calendering process under stringent quality controls in compliance with ISO 9001 certified systems.
